Age: Uhhh... I remember my teenage years watching Chris Kays skate at age 2.
Hometown: Hawaii Kai, now Pasadena CA

Years skateboarding: Had a board at 3, but I like to think it started when we learned street ollies in the mid-80s. I think my first factory sponsor was in 1987 and I haven't stopped since.
Travel: Interplanetary trips to Mars and beyond!
Fav Spots: Northwest, Kapolei, Culver, Steve's, Fontana 2, wednesday night sessions at the Block.
Experiences: Everyday on a skateboard is the best. Good, bad, whatever, just getting out and rolling.
Fav Skateboarder: Anyone on edge pushing it physically and creatively. Gonz, Blender, Jason Jesse, Gator.
Hawaii Skateboarding? Hawaii is rad. Great clean air and good weather. Good environments breed great skateboarding.
Food: Vietnamese
Music: Whatever is playing. Sonic Youth, Minutemen, Devo. In the car I listen to talk-radio podcasts.
Inspiration: Everyone contributes something. It's a random mix of motivation, aggression and creativity. Watching someone learn something new, or take a good slam jumping up ready for more. Totally inspired by everyone I grew up with and everyone I ride with today.
